Over the years, Joshua has trained under one of Vancouver’s most respected coaches, Andrew McIlroy. By focusing on film and TV, he was able to focus on all apects of the art. Whether is was auditioning, blocking, or being coached for a specific role, Joshua gained a significant foundation to draw from under McIlroy’s direction.

At Railtown Studios, Joshua has focused on scene study, film, and voice work. With a strong belief that an actor must always be training, he has attended various classes and workshops. Railtown and its coaching staff have pushed Joshua out of his comfort zone and strengthened both his experience and education. He continues to attend courses, and be coached, at the studio.
